Soda cans are found everywhere. What we didn’t know is that this piece of junk is a survivalist’s treasure in disguise. Here is a list of survival hacks using soda cans:
1. Lamp/Candle Hanger
– Soda can
– Sharpie pen
a. Draw a big capital “i” along the center of the can.
b. Cut the lines using a blade or scissors.
c. Open up the two side wings and hold them back.
d. Light up your small candle and place it inside.
e. Use the soda tab to hang. (Reminder: Do not hang this inside a tent. Tents are not safe places for naked flame and they can burn up incredibly fast. This lamp should only be used in a place that is safe to avoid catching fire.)
2. Soda Can Torch

– Table napkins/Paper towel
a. Roll up the paper towels.
b. Dip the rolled paper towel into the olive oil.

4. Survival Whistle

This one is very easy and handy. You will just cut, fold, and roll a strip from the soda can and ta-da! you already have a whistle.
5. Hanger/Hook for your stuff
– Tab of the soda can
a. Cut out an area on the middle part of the tab.
b. Tie the paracord on the top.
6. Signaling Mirror/Reflector
– Soda can
– Aluminum paste/polish
a. Rub the aluminum paste and polish the bottom of the aluminum can.
With the item in number 6 (above) and a char cloth, place it under the bright sun. Apply just a little bit of patience and you can light a fire with this.

An amazing discovery in an abandoned house in Austin, Texas: A lost book of amazing survival knowledge, believed to have been long vanished to history, has been found in a dusty drawer in the house which belonged to a guy named Claude Davis.
Remember... back in those days, there was no electricity... no refrigerators... no law enforcement... and certainly no grocery store or supermarkets... Some of these exceptional skills are hundreds of years of old and they were learned the hard way by the early pioneers.
We've lost to history so much survival knowledge that we've become clueless compared to what our great grandfathers did or built on a daily basis to sustain their families.
Neighbors said that for the last couple of years Claude has tried to unearth and learn the forgotten ways of our great-grandparents and claimed to have found a secret of gargantuan proportions. A secret that he is about to reveal together with 3 old teachings that will change everything you think you know about preparedness:
