Another great video from Living Big In A Tiny House, this one features an amazing “high end DIY” home on wheels in Australia, that shows just what miracles can be done with a trailer and a steel box! This video has absolutely blown up, with nearly 50 million views at the time of writing.
The setting: A beautiful, secluded 16-acre plot. We learn that around 10 years ago a bush fire ravaged this area and the burned land became available for a low price. Plenty of regrowth since the fire and you might not know that it had burned.
Unsurprisngly from the build quality, we learn that our interpid builder has a significant background in construction and runs a bathroom and kitchen renovation company. Clearly a creative type and something of a design genius; it’s like he was “let loose” with this project – with tons of original features including a “cat run” and a fantastic light feature made from a steel frame, fairy lights, edison bulbs and a trailing plant!
And of course, being a kitchen designer he’s put in a full kitchen with marble countertops. Everything is sleek, stylish and modern. I love the soft-close custom cabinets built into the stairs, the lighting and the crazy floor transition between the hexagon tiles and the dark wood planks. It’s all a bit fancy, this – and for most of us it’s something to gawk at rather than something we will ever own.
But the final interesting point is that being a DIY build, they are probably debt free. So it’s a way to own a fine home without sacrificing your entire life to get to the point where you can start living… we learn that the cost of the build was approximately $80,000-$90,000 (presumably Australian dollars) – which is actually WAY less than I expected considering the quality of the build. If you hired someone to do this for you it would cost far more.

An amazing discovery in an abandoned house in Austin, Texas: A lost book of amazing survival knowledge, believed to have been long vanished to history, has been found in a dusty drawer in the house which belonged to a guy named Claude Davis.
Remember... back in those days, there was no electricity... no refrigerators... no law enforcement... and certainly no grocery store or supermarkets... Some of these exceptional skills are hundreds of years of old and they were learned the hard way by the early pioneers.
We've lost to history so much survival knowledge that we've become clueless compared to what our great grandfathers did or built on a daily basis to sustain their families.
Neighbors said that for the last couple of years Claude has tried to unearth and learn the forgotten ways of our great-grandparents and claimed to have found a secret of gargantuan proportions. A secret that he is about to reveal together with 3 old teachings that will change everything you think you know about preparedness:
