3 Common Garden Planning Mistakes (and how to avoid them). Photo – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxRVMB7t64E
We found a fantastic gardening video tutorial by GrowVeg. There are a lot of things to learn about gardening and this one has some great tips.
For me, it’s always best to go organic. It ensures that you are getting a lot of nutrients without the risk of ingesting the remaining pesticides that may have been absorbed into the plants. What I love about organic farming is simply the quality – who doesn’t want top quality vegetables packed with nutrients and delicious taste?
It was mentioned in the video that you should always make sure that there should be enough space in between the plants so that they have enough room to grow. Plants also have their own ways of survival: It’s every plant for itself, so that’s why you will notice that overcrowded plants don’t grow to full size.

I remember I watched a show about winemaking where the owner of the vineyard explained that they strategically placed some rose plants beside the grapes not because of aesthetic reasons, but because they used them as an indicator for the health of their plants. This is also the same with vegetables.
Companion planting is essential especially when you’re doing organic farming. Instead of using pesticides, you use other plants to attract beneficial insects that will kill off pesky pests in your garden. Did you know that you can keep a hornworm away from your tomato plants by sprinkling a bit of cornmeal?
If you want to try your hand at vegetable gardening, take note of the 3 common mistakes so that you will be able to avoid them in the future.

What Tinnitus Does To Your Brain Cells (And How To Stop It)
