Tiny House With Incredible Interior Design Built In 40 Days. Photo – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQelSAnTWxM
Nowadays, tiny homes are becoming extremely popular because of their overall cost-efficiency and simplicity when compared to the typical “house and mortgage”. They are very easy to maintain and manage, which saves the owner from a lot of stress. In the video, we are taken on tour of a delightful tiny house located in Kamouraska, Canada. The home was built by a couple, Pascual Dubé and Catherine Duval, who run a tiny home building company named “Ma Maison Logique” which is French for “My Logical house”. It took them only 40 days to finish building this house!
The best thing about this tiny house is its interior. In theory, the house is not that spacious but once you look inside, it seems much bigger than it really is. This is because every area is utilized to maximize the space and there is enough room for all the necessities needed in a typical home. The loft bedroom is located over the kitchen; their couch transforms into a guest bed and storage unit when needed. The dining table can be folded up and stored away. This was made possible by Catherine, who is an interior designer. She really did a good job in making the house cozy and comfortable despite its limited space.
Dubé designed the house to be able to withstand the extreme Canadian winters, including triple-pane windows and installing a small wood stove to provide heat inside the house. They also installed an air vent in the bathroom to keep fresh air flowing in and utilized natural paints and oil finishes in order to ensure non-toxic air indoors.
Every feature of this house is simple and surprisingly inexpensive. All the components of this tiny home work together very well and the house flows so well from one area to the next.
