It is often said that the best teachers are the ones who make their subject entertaining. Despite the joking, there’s a serious side to these hacks and after watching this video, I’m sure that I would be able to remember the important stuff if I had to.
Let’s say you have a tin of food but no tools, the wrong batteries for your flashlight or a jar of mayonnaise but no candles – look no further and all will be revealed!
This video will appeal to anyone who likes to take things apart to see how they work, set fire to stuff and make simple weapons. Ok, so these sound like the kind of things many of us did when we were kids. Now we have some more potentially useful life hacks to add our collection.
One of the more likely situations we could find ourselves in, is where we need to start a fire but the lighter we have has run out of gas… there’s still a way to make it work! Admittedly, it does take this guy a few attempts to get there but this small piece of knowledge could be the crucial difference in a survival situation.
Most of the experiments here could be seen as a bit of fun for big boys but unfortunately we can’t recommend that you try these things at home, unless you’re really in an emergency situation, as some of them could be dangerous. However, it’s always good to know what to do just in case!
